WeWent...To Nashville (48 Hours) I can’t really imagine a better city to spend a weekend in. Nashville is one of the up and coming cities of the south--Think ‘Austin’ but less hipsters and more bachelorette parties

WeWent...to Skyline Drive My mother has convinced me that I was born with bean boots and mittens on. Needless to say I have always, always, always loved the mountains. So you can imagine my excitement when Dan woke me up with a tap on the shoulder and said “let’s go to the Shenandoah mountains”. Our destination: Skyline Drive. We paid the well worth it, $25 entrance fee ($10/person if you happen to be on foot - we aren’t that brave) and started our driving tour. The views were breathtaking and Dan’s fear of heights was comical. One of the beauties of this drive is that you can take it as fast or as slow as you’d like - with 75 overlooks the 105 mile north-south drive will not leave you wanting more.
